I am directed by the Minister of Transport to state for the information of Mr. Secretary Griffiths, that he has received your letter of the 28th March, 1951, enclosing a copy of the report of the Dangerous Goods Committee which was appointed by the Governor of Hong Kong in 1949.

The Minister notes the ready assistance which officials of his Department have been able to give to the Governor in connection with the preparation of the report, and will be pleased to convey an expression of the appreciation of the Colonial Government to the officials concerned, and in particular to Mr. E. F. Callow, M.B.E.
